WHERE do you play?
All games are played at the Monches baseball park in Hartland, WI.
WHEN do you play?
Games are played on Thursday nights at 6pm and 7pm from June until mid August.
How many teams are there?
The league has a maximum of five teams. Spots will be filled first by returning teams. Remaining openings will be filled on a first come, first serve basis.
How many games does each team play?
Each team is guaranteed (8) 5-inning games. Each game is played within the hour. Each team has two bye weeks. The top four teams make the playoffs.
How do playoffs work?
The top four teams make the playoffs. Playoff games are 3 innings instead of 5. The first round is a best of 3 series. The #1 vs #4 series takes place on the Wednesday after the end of the regular season. The #2 vs #3 series takes place the next day on Thursday. The winners of each series advance to the best of 5 championship round the following week. Games 1-3 are played on Wednesday; games 4-5 are played on Thursday if necessary.
How many players on a team?
Teams can have a maximum of seven players. Four players play in the field during the game.
How do I sign up?
Registration opens on March 1st, 2024 at monchesrecclub.org for the 2024 summer season.
What are the rules?

What is the age distribution of your league?
Players' ages range from 16 to 50+.
What is the skill level of players?
Skill level of players ranges from novice to advanced.
Is this league co-ed?
Men and women are both welcome! Teams can be all men, all women, or a mix of both.
League history
Summer of 2022 was the inaugural season of Monches Wiffle Ball. The league featured five teams. After dominating the regular season, the Hartford Weasels defeated B.D.E. in a three-game sweep to become the first ever Monches Wiffle Ball League Champions.
In 2023, after another dominant season, the Weasels went on to win their second straight championship after defeating the Ball Busters 3 games to 1.
